Hi, I’m Viktoria.
My background is in fish, wildlife, and conservation biology - ask me anything about black bears and my time working with them, I love them! However, life tends to take unexpected turns, and I am now a proud business owner and professional organizer. I am originally from Colorado where I ran a business with a variety of services, including professional organizing and deep cleaning. After moving back to Tennessee (I lived here for years as a kid) with my new husband in 2023, I decided I wanted my business to focus solely on organizing.
The idea for Joyful Home came from a lot of things. I truly love to help people, and seeing the difference that organizing can make in someone’s home brings me joy. I have also seen how having an organized and functional home can create more space for joy in a person’s life. In 2023, as I entered my 30s and my new marriage, I decided I wanted to focus more on joy. Joyful Home is simply an extension of who I want to be and what I want to give to the world.
Why Joyful Home?
What makes Joyful Home different from other organizing services? It’s personalized. Each step of the process is tailored specifically to you and your family. Minimalism is in right now, but if cozy maximalism is your thing, that’s beautiful, too! The goal is to organize in a way that is functional while also incorporating design elements that fit your style. It all starts with a free consultation. Let’s get together to discuss your goals, just click here.
My Approach
I have experience organizing for people in many different situations and it’s important to recognize that not everyone has the time or patience for super detailed folding methods or working through an entire garage full of stuff. I like to focus on what brings joy and purpose into your home. No matter what your situation is, I am ready to help.
Busy Family
Let’s be real, raising a family is chaotic. Between sports, clubs, appointments, and where your missing slipper is, you probably don’t have time to spend a day organizing your cabinets, much less an entire room. We can discuss your family’s schedules, habits, and routines to create a beautiful and functional space.
Adhd & Other mental or physical limitations
Unfortunately, this is something many of us deal with these days, myself included. I have worked to learn how to organize in ways that work well with neurodivergent brains.
Sentimental Items
Items from our childhood, from our kids, or those handed down to us can often bring back fond memories. But is it really necessary to keep all of it? Having an outside perspective can be beneficial when sorting through these belongings to help you decide what is most meaningful for you to keep or what might bring joy into someone else’s home.
Healthy Habits
Practicing healthy habits can save you time, money, and energy. If your shopping habits or lack of a cleaning routine have lead to disorganization and chaos, both in your home and in your mind, we can discuss some ideas on how to implement healthier habits and bring joy and calm back into your home and mind.
